Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for various accounting transactions

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

• Maintain and update financial records and reports in accordance with GAAP

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports

• Help maintain the fixed asset schedule and depreciation calculations

• Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation for external auditors

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

• Participate in process improvements and system implementations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5 years of accounting experience (public or private sector)

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
